After a few false starts, I have finally acquiesced to requests from friends and started this simple guide to a good life. It is not about product reviews. It is not about famous brands. It is not about expensive objects. But instead, it is an ongoing selection of objects, products, services, applications, places, art, and everything else I have enjoyed.
I have a quirky way of appreciating things — sometimes it takes years before I can recommend a product. On other occasions, I know it when I see it. And sometimes, I develop my nerdy way of evaluating a product. For instance, when it comes to socks, I tend to use a simple formula = price per wash per wear. It is no surprise that merino socks are an excellent value for money. However, sneaker-wearing friends are better off opting for cotton socks from Muji.
I won’t be alone in offering suggestions — I am going to invite friends who had good taste and appreciate impeccable quality to come up with their recommendations. The key criterion of selection is that these are products they own.
Hopefully, you will enjoy the things I like.
